The answer? Please the right people. So, who’s that? Who has your money in their pockets? Answer those questions, and you’re on your way.
Fact is, using copywriting that appeals to the broadest possible market is like watering down wine to make it last. It makes sense on paper, but that doesn’t make it smart.
Ads we mock in chats around the water cooler or in social media speak volumes about those writers and the brand of copy they produce while trying to please everybody in their inability to commit to an audience.
Don’t settle for mediocrity.
